Volleyball Falls in Skyline Play at Manhattanville

PURCHASE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College volleyball team traveled to defending Skyline Conference champion Manhattanville College on Thursday night, dropping a 3-0 decision to the host Valiants (6-8, 3-0 Skyline).

FSC (4-7, 2-1) received eight points from freshman outside hitter Doly DeJesus (Geneva, N.Y.), who put down seven kills while adding five digs and one service ace. Junior libero Lana Ventura (Pt. Washington, N.Y.) and freshman setter Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) passed six digs apiece, with Rende collecting 13 assists. 

Head coach Kellie Block's Rams return to Skyline play on Monday (Oct. 2), when it travels to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn for a 7 p.m. first serve at the Hill Center.
