PURCHASE, N.Y. | With a 58-24 advantage in points on the evening, including 43 kills and 15 service aces, the Farmingdale State College volleyball team kicked off its Skyline Conference regular-season schedule with a 3-0 sweep Wednesday at Purchase College, defeating the host Panthers by set scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-13.
The visiting Rams (2-4, 1-0 Skyline) received double-digit kills efforts from pin hitters
Madeline Stanley (Sr.; Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and
Doly DeJesus (Fr.; Geneva, N.Y.), with the outsides collecting career-bests of 14 and 13, respectively. DeJesus finished one dig shy of a double-double with her back-row passing, while registering three service aces. Freshman setter

Head coach Kellie Block's Rams will next play host to four-consecutive home matches at the Walter A. Lynch Sports Center, beginning Friday night with a 6 p.m., non-conference first serve against Brooklyn College.
