BRONXVILLE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's soccer team traveled to Bronxville, N.Y. to take on Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday afternoon and picked up a 2-0 victory. The Rams improved to 10-3-3 overall and 7-1-2 in conference play, while the Gryphons fell to 3-10-1, 2-7-1.
FSC came out quick as senior forward
Michael Lanouette (Hamden, CT) tallied an unassisted goal only 42 seconds in to give the Rams a lead they would not relinquish.Â
Sarah Lawrence goalie Kian Silva kept Farmingdale State off the board the remainder of the half, making five straight saves, as FSC led 1-0 at the break.
The Rams controlled play in the second half, attempting 21 total shots.Â

Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) made a save to maintain the 1-0 advantage.

Anthony Bileddo (Carle Place, N.Y.) scored to put the Rams in front, 2-0.
SLC had one shot in the final minute as the Rams earned the 2-0 victory.
Bileddo now has 12 goals for FSC this season, a total that is tied for fifth in school history for a single season and currently ranks second in the Skyline. Bileddo also ranks 26th in the Nation for total goals scored.
JÂ Silva registered another shutout, finishing with four saves in net.
The Rams will next travel to St. Joseph's-Long Island for their final match of the regular season on Wednesday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. Farmingdale State can clinch the top-seed for the Skyline Conference playoffs with a win.
