Farmingdale State - 5, Mount Saint Mary College - 2

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Senior midfielder J.T. Famularo (Levittown, N.Y.) led the Rams with three goals in a 5-2 victory today over Skyline opponent Mount Saint Mary College (2-7-1, 1-1). Farmingdale State improved to 5-3 overall with the win, 2-0 in conference play.

Famularo gave the Rams a 1-0 edge with an unassisted goal only 1:05 into the contest. Less than six minutes later, senior midfielder Victor Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) increased the Farmingdale State lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal.

Famularo tallied his second score of the game in the 9th minute to put the Rams on top, 3-0. With 28:55 remaining in the half, Famularo completed the hat trick off a cross from senior midfielder Michael Vultaggio (Massapequa, N.Y.).

In the second half, Mount Saint Mary got on the board in the 46th minute to cut the defecit to 4-1. Farmingdale State added their fifth and final goal in the 59th minute as junior defender Domenico Mauro (Syosset, N.Y.) scored his first career goal off a corner kick. The Rams allowed just one goal the rest of the way en route to their second conference win.

Farmingdale State next will travel to St. Joseph's for a Skyline Conference game on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00 p.m.
