Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team lost two matches today at the Manhattanville Tri-match. The Rams fell 3-0 to Manhattanville this morning, before falling 3-0 to William Paterson in the second match of the day.

Against the Valiants, freshman outside Annie Cosgrave (Bay Shore, N.Y.) led the Rams with nine kills and five digs, while senior setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) totaled 22 assists. Junior outside Christina Hickey (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) totaled a team-high 11 digs, along with four kills and two blocks.

Junior middle blocker Barbara Wright (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led the team against the Pioneeers, posting 11 kills and two blocks. Hickey served up four aces, while tallying 10 digs. Senior libero Francesca Calderon (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) and sophomore outside Stephanie Etersque (Deer Park, N.Y.) each finished with a team-high 11 digs in the match.

The Rams will now travel to face York (N.Y.) on Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
