Farmingdale State - 55, Sarah Lawrence - 34

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Farmingdale State freshman center Ronald Winkler (North Massapequa, N.Y.) registered a double-double with a career-high 17 points and 13 rebounds in the 55-34 victory over Sarah Lawrence this afternoon.

The Rams (8-14, 6-9) held a 31-14 halftime lead after Winkler poured in a team-high 10 points. Sarah Lawrence (1-21, 0-16) was held to only 21% (6-for-28) shooting in the first half.

Farmingdale State opened the second half on a 16-3 run to extend their advantage to 47-17 with 9:54 remaining. The Rams held at least a 20-point lead the remainder of the game to earn the 55-34 Skyline Conference victory.

Freshman forward Eriq Williams (Valley Stream, N.Y.), junior guard Eddie Kinloch (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and junior forward Anthony Lanieri (Lake Grove, N.Y.) each pitched in with six points for Farmingdale State.

The Rams next will host St. Joseph's in a conference matchup on Tuesday, February 17th at 8:00 p.m.
