Farmingdale State - 3, CCNY - 1 (25-10, 20-25, 25-17, 25-21)

New York, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team improved to 12-9 on the year after earning a 3-1 victory at CCNY on Tuesday evening.

The Rams were led by junior outside Christina Hickey (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) who recorded a game-high 11 kills and added seven digs, while freshman outside Annie Cosgrave (Bay Shore, N.Y.) tallied seven kills and a game-high 16 digs. Junior middle blocker Barbara Wright (Farmingdale, N.Y.) had nine kills and four blocks, while senior libero Francesca Calderon (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) finished the game with 12 digs. Sophomore setter Gina Giacalone (Hauppauge, N.Y.) had 30 assists in the victory for Farmingdale State.

CCNY's (5-25) Camila Diaz (New York, N.Y.) had a team-leading five kills and two blocks in the loss.

Farmingdale State next will travel to William Paterson for a non-conference match on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
