Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team picked up two conference wins in today's Skyline PlayDate, as they hosted Old Westbury, Purchase and Maritime. The Rams defeated both Maritime and Purchase, 3-0, to improve to 6-3 overall, 2-0 in conference play.

Against Maritime, sophomore outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) posted a team-high nine kills and six digs. Freshman setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) finished with 21 assists.

In the match vs. Purchase, Palladino again posted a team-high of 12 kills, while senior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) finished with 11 kills. Freshman outside Angela Kranz (Bohemia, N.Y.) had seven digs and Pisciotta tallied 24 assists.

The Rams will now play at Hunter in a Tri-Match on Saturday, September 29th. They face Hunter at 4:00 p.m. and the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 6:00 p.m.
