Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team defeated both Purchase and Maritime in a Skyline Conference playdate held at Purchase College. The Rams improved to 9-2 overall, 4-0 in conference play.

In the win over Purchase, senior outside Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y.) had a game-high 15 kills to go along with seven digs. Junior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) recorded 11 kills and 10 digs, while senior libero Jessica Zimmermann (Seaford, N.Y.) led all players with 22 digs. Freshman setter Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) tallied 29 assists and four service aces for Farmingdale State.

In the match versus Maritime, The Rams were led by Cunningham and Sahner who had nine and eight kills, respectively. Palladino had a game-high 19 assists for the Rams.

Farmingdale State next will play Mount Saint Mary and The Sage Colleges in a Skyline Conference playdate at Old Westbury on Saturday, October 8th.
