Women Finish in a Program Best 5th Place at
CTC's
Collegiate Track Conference Championships

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State
women's indoor track team scored a record 56 points to finish in
5th place out of 21 teams at this weekend's Collegiate Track
Conference Championship at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn.
This is the highest finish in school history, as every woman
recorded a score towards the team total in the meet.
Freshman Corine Magee placed 2nd in the 55m in 7.35 (7.39 trials)
and 3rd in the 200m in 26.39. Corine also ran a blazing 25.95
anchor leg to lead the 4x200m Relay to a 2nd place school record -
1:47.28. This is the second time the team of Kathleen Clermont,
Faustine Chukwuezi, Victoria Mandat and Magee have broken the
record this season.
The team will compete next at the NYU Last Chance Meet on
Friday, February 26th.
