Rams Split at Purchase Playdate

Farmingdale State - 3, Purchase College - 2 (14-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-18, 15-13)

NYU-Poly - 3, Farmingdale State - 0 (25-19, 25-11, 27-25)

Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team split two matches with a 3-2 win over Purchase and a 3-0 loss over NYU-Poly. The Rams are now 10-8 overall in 4th place in the Skyline at 6-3.

In the win over Purchase, sophomore outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) and junior outside Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) both finished with 12 kills for the Rams. Junior opposite Renee Milevoj (Plainview, N.Y./Bethpage) had 17 digs and freshman setter Lindsey Fisher (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) totaled 29 assists and 15 digs.

In the loss against NYU-Poly, Sahner had six kills and Fisher had 12 assists.

The Rams will now face St. Joseph's in their final regular-season Skyline match on Wednesday, October 27th at 7:00 p.m.
