Chukwuezi Qualifies for Nationals with School Record in
Triple Jump
- Rams have a team record qualified for ECAC's -
Manhattan, N.Y. - Freshman Faustine Chukwuezi
(Central Islip, N.Y./Central Islip) broke the school record in the
Triple Jump with a mark of 11.54m (37' 10 1/2"), an NCAA Division
III National Provisional qualifying distance. Faustine currently
tops the National performance list for the NCAA Division III
National Championship at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
Freshman Vicky Mandat (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon)
qualified for the ECAC's with a 9.51 mark in the 60m Hurdles. This
converts to a time of 8.93 for the 55m Hurdles event, which she
will run at the ECAC Championships.
The women's team has a team record three individual ECAC
qualifiers in four events and one relay.

60m: Corine Magee - 7.92 - 1st place in "B" final
1000m: Melissa Bonilla - 3:23.04 - #2 on All-Time list
The Rams will compete next at the Wesleyan Invitational on
Saturday, January 23rd at Wesleyan University in Middletown,
Connecticut.
