Box Score Rams Defeat Yeshiva for Second Straight Skyline

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State (2-4,
2-1 Skyline) men's basketball team won their second straight
conference game with a 66-59 victory over visiting Yeshiva
University (4-5, 3-3 Skyline). The Rams led 36-32 at the half,
shooting 51% from the field and then held the Maccabees to only 27
points in the second.
Yeshiva fought back to grab a three point lead with 9:48
remaining, before a Nikita Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y./Telecommunication)
layup and a Ricco Oliver (Brooklyn, N.Y./Boys and Girls)
three-pointer put Farmingdale back up by two points, 53-51, with
7:20 left in the game. The Maccabees' Chen Biron (Kfar Saba,
Israel, Masorti Jerusalem) responded with a three-pointer on the
next possession to put his team up 54-53. There was no scoring over
the next two minutes until a Shahee Martin (Queens, N.Y./West
Hempstead) jumper gave the Rams their final lead. Farmingdale State
would end the game on an 11-4 run, defeating Yeshiva 66-59.
Martin led the Rams with a game-high 21 points and nine
rebounds. Davis had 17 points, three steals and 12 boards, 10 of
which came on the defensive end for Farmingdale. Oliver added 11
points, shooting 57% from the field.
Martin Liebovich (Buenos Aires, Argentina/ORT II) scored a
team-high 17 points, shooting 7-for-13 from the floor for Yeshiva.
Biron had 14 points, while David Gilboa (Tenafly, N.J./Frisch)
pitched in scoring 12.
The Rams host non-conference opponent Ramapo on Tuesday,
December 15th at 7:00 p.m.
