Karen graduated from Malverne High School in 2012, where she wasthe teams Most Valuable Player and an Unsung Hero award winner.Karen was named Most Outstanding Female Athlete at Malverne.

Sophomore year...Played in 35-of-37matches...Was third on the team in kills (135) and fourth in bothdigs (168) and aces (53).
