Kristen Cassidy was named assistant coach of the Farmingdale State College men's and women's tennis teams at the start of the 2025-26 academic year. She came to FSC following a two-year stint at Molloy University, where she was an assistant women's tennis coach for one year before serving as the Lions' head coach during the 2024-25 campaign.
A native of Wantagh, N.Y., Cassidy was four-year tennis student-athlete at Moravian University, where the two-year team captain was both a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and All-Landmark Conference doubles honoree for the Greyhounds. She was a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha honor society, and received her bachelor's degree in political science and sociology in 2021. Cassidy attended Moravian following a scholastic tennis career at MacArthur High School, where she garnered all-conference accolades on four occasions.
