Farmingdale State College

Cara is a 2012 graduate of East Rockaway High School, where she was named All-Conference, All-Division and All-Classification. Cara was also named a Scholar-Athlete, Most Improved Player, earned the Coaches Award and was named to the Academic Honor Roll. Prior to Farmingdale State, she played two seasons at Nassau Community College. She was named first team All-Region and second team All-Region during her two years at Nassau. She is the daughter of Michele and Louis Camerada.

Senior year...Played in 22 games, while starting 16...Batted .255 and was second on the team in triples with one and fourth in doubles (4).

Junior year...Appeared in 15 games with 12 starts at third base...Finished with a .256 batting average, 10 hits and six RBI's.
