Biography

Melanie is a 2016 graduate of Plainedge High School. She is the daughter of Marie and Egidio Tencic.

Senior year...Earned Second Team All-Skyline honors...Started all eight games...Caused three turnovers and picked up nine ground balls.

Junior year...Named Second Team All-Conference...Started every game...Recorded 19 caused turnovers and scored one goal from her defensive position...Caused at least one turnover in 14 games this season.

Sophomore year...Appeared in 14 games, with 13 starts...Ranked second on the team in caused turnovers (18) and third in ground balls (23)...Ranked 13th in the conference for caused turnovers.

Freshman year...Named First Team All-Conference...Appeared in and started all 20 games...Picked up 21 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers...Anchored an FSC defense that ranked 44th in the Nation for scoring defense.
