A former Division I women's lacrosse student-athlete with more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience across all three NCAA divisions, Jennifer Lukas is entering her fifth season as an assistant coach at Farmingdale State College in 2026. With the Rams, she primarily aids head coach Erin Calkins with mentoring their attackers.

Following a five-year scholastic playing career at Kingston (N.Y.) High School where she helped the Tigers to four Section IX championships, Lukas was a two-year student-athlete as an attack at St. Bonaventure University. After suffering a career-ending injury as a sophomore, she remained with the Bonnies as a student assistant coach before receiving her bachelor's degree in Sport Studies, Human Development & Learning Cognate in 2010. Following graduation from the Olean, New York institution, Lukas served a one-year graduate assistantship with the women's lacrosse program at Ithaca College, where she helped guide the Bombers to an appearance in the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship and earned a master's degree in Health Education.

After a one-year stint as assistant coach at Shaker High School in Latham, New York, Lukas worked at Division II institution Alderson Broaddus University from 2012-16. While there, she started the Battlers' women's lacrosse program from scratch and served as assistant director of athletics. She successfully recruited student-athletes from 16 different states to the Philippi, West Virginia institution, and guided ABU to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference title game in her final year at the institution.

Lukas also holds a master's degree in Health Policy and Management from the CUNY Graduate School of Health & Health Policy, which she received in 2017.
