The 2025-26 season is Jalyn Brown's fourth on the women's basketball staff at Farmingdale State College, and third in a row after serving on the Rams' staff during the 2019-20 campaign.
Brown returned to FSC after serving as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Suffolk County Community College from 2020-23. In addition to coaching experience on the AAU circuit, she was an assistant women's basketball coach during the 2018-19 season at Queens (N.Y.) College.Â
A native of Riverhead, N.Y., Brown was a four-time All-Suffolk County selection at Riverhead High School, where she scored more than 1,000 points for the Blue Waves and earned a Top 50 mention in New York State after leading her team to a Long Island Championship as a senior. She was a four-year basketball player at Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus, where she was a guard for the Pioneers. Brown received her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and Administration from LIU in 2017.
