Meagan is a 2012 graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School, where she was an Honor Roll student. She transferred to Farmingdale State after attending East Stroudsburg University. Meagan is the daughter of Stephanie and Brian Anderson.
Senior year...Named First Team All-Conference and Second Team NFCA All-Northeast Region...Named to the 2015-16 All-Farmingdale State Team...Led the Rams in batting average (.473), runs (30), hits (43), doubles (6), triples (2), home runs (6), RBI (27), total bases (71), slugging percentage (.780), walks (16), on-base percentage (.545), stolen bases (8) and posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage from her catcher position...Only struck out twice in 108 plate appearances...Led the Skyline in fielding percentage, was second in batting average, on-base percentage and walks and fourth for slugging percentage...In the NCAA, ranked 24th in on-base percentage, was the 34th toughest batter to strike out, 35th for batting average and 46th in slugging percentage.
Junior year...Named Third Team NFCA All-Northeast Region...Lead-off hitter...Finished with team-highs of 34 runs scored, 4 triples and 8 stolen bases...Finished 2nd on the team with 44 hits, 11 walks, 7 doubles and a .396 batting average...In Skyline, ranked 2nd for triples, 3rd for runs, 4th for on-base % and hits and 6th for stolen bases.
Sophomore year...Named First Team All-Skyline, First Team ECAC Metro All-Star...Team-leading .480 batting average, which is the 2nd highest single-season batting average in school history...Led the team in slugging percentage (.756), on-base percentage (.529), runs scored (48), hits (61), doubles (18), triples (4) and stolen bases (6)...Led the Conference in batting average, runs, hits, doubles, total bases, 2nd for on-base % and 4th for triple and slugging percentage.
Freshman year...Named Skyline Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Skyline...Selected to the 2012-13 All-Farmingdale State Team...Featured on Newsday.com on May 1st...Hit the game-winning homerun in the Skyline Finals...Led the team in nine categories, including fielding percentage (.990) with just two errors...Batted leadoff in 40 games and finished 2nd in the Skyline with a .399 average, Tied for 1st for doubles, 2nd for runs scored, 2nd for hits, 2nd for total bases, 2nd for at-bats, 4th for slug %, 5th for sb's, 7th for on-base %, 9th for RBI's...Had 18 multiple hit games...Threw out 11 runners with 1 pickoff.
