The 2025-26 academic year marks Frank Montelione's seventh with the Farmingdale State College softball team. The Long Island native played baseball at Skyline Conference foe St. Joseph's University of Long Island, where the four-year pitcher served as the Golden Eagles' team captain in his final two seasons. Montelione has coached numerous sports at the high school level, including baseball, basketball, track and field, and for more than 15 years, soccer. He received his bachelor's degree in secondary education/mathematics from St. Joseph's, before earning a master's degree from Stony Brook University.
