Biography
Carmela is a 2015 graduate of Massapequa High School, where she named All-Class for basketball and a High Honor Roll student. Carmela transferred to Farmingdale after playing basketball at St. Joseph's-LI. She is the daughter of Kristine and Louis Gampero.
Junior year...Appeared in all 27 games with four starts...Shot 30% from the field and recorded 51 rebounds and 17 steals.
Sophomore year...Appeared in all but one game...Totaled 48 rebounds, 27 points and four blocks.
