Farmingdale State College

Alan is a 2020 graduate of Connetquot High School, where he earned All-County honors twice and was named All-State. Alan was also a two-time team MVP, a Singles Divisional Champion and won the State Sportsmanship Award. He is the son of Senad and Alma Sabovic. 

2025...Skyline Conference Player of the Year...First Team All-Conference...CSC Academic All-District selection...SUNY Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year...ITA Scholar-Athlete...Went 10-3 in singles competition, including a perfect 7-0 in Skyline play...Added eight doubles victories (5-1 Skyline).
2024...Skyline Conference Player of the Year...First Team All-Conference...CSC Academic All-District...SUNY Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year...Skyline Conference Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year...ITA Scholar Athlete...Broke the school record with a perfect 16-0 record at No. 1 singles...Went 14-3 in doubles competition with 11 victories in the No. 2 spot...Did not lose a Skyline match all year.
2023...All-Skyline Conference First Team...went 12-2 in singles play (12-1 at No. 2; 5-0 Skyline), tying for the third-most single-season victories in school history...tallied a 14-3 doubles mark, which included a 6-0 Skyline slate and a 12-2 ledger at the No. 2 flight.

2022...All-Skyline Conference First Team...Skyline Conference All-Sportsmanship Team...registered a 9-3 record in singles play, including marks of 8-3 at No. 2 and 5-0 in conference action...went 9-7 during doubles (5-2 Skyline), predominantly at the No. 1 flight.

2021...Named Second Team All-Conference...Posted a 2-1 mark at #3 singles and a 4-1 record at #2 doubles...Led the Skyline in #2 doubles wins and was second for #3 singles victories.
