Patrick is a 2008 graduate of Massapequa High School, where helettered in football and wrestling. He is the son of Charlie andPatricia Schmidt.

Senior year...Played three games in goal, withfive saves and three goals allowed.

Junior year...Played three games in goal,allowing only eight goals and holding a 6.82 goals againstaverage.
