Mike graduated from Sachem East High School in 2016. He is the son of Gerard and Dorothy Nicosia.

Junior year...Played in seven games and tallied four saves.

Sophomore year...Made six appearances in net and stopped six shots.

Freshman year...Appeared in six games in goal during his freshman campaign, recording eight saves.
