A two-time Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year at Farmingdale State College and four-time Division III All-America selection, Terrence Haggerty is in his fourth season as offensive coordinator and assistant coach with the Rams in 2026.
Haggerty was a two-time honorable mention All-America selection and a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Decade Team at SUNY Cortland (2018-20), where the attackman helped the Red Dragons to a pair of SUNYAC championships and appearances in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship. Across his 40-game career in Central New York, Haggerty scored 120 goals and added 31 assists for a total of 151 points. He was drafted No. 37 overall in the seventh round of the 2020 Major League Lacrosse draft by the New York Lizards.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centerport, New York native returned to Long Island and played two seasons of lacrosse at Farmingdale State. Similar to his stint at Cortland, Haggerty scored 151 points (97g, 54a) and was a two-time honorable mention All-America selection for the Rams, while earning the Skyline Conference's Offensive Player of the Year award in both his seasons in a green and white uniform. Along with former teammate and fellow assistant coach Jake Wandle, Haggerty was named to the inaugural class of Farmingdale State's Men's Lacrosse Ring of Honor in 2025.
Haggerty, who was a two-time All-Suffolk County selection at Harborfields High School, received his bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Cortland.Â
