Jake Wandle

Jake Wandle is in his second season as assistant men's lacrosse coach at his alma mater in 2026. An inaugural inductee into the Farmingdale State Men's Lacrosse Ring of Honor in 2025, he played for five seasons under Rams' Head Coach Sean Chamberlain.

Wandle was a three-time All-Skyline Conference selection across his career in a green and white uniform, and the team captain was the recipient of the athletic department's George LaRosa Leadership Award following his senior campaign in 2023. A United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-America honoree in 2023, he rounded out his playing days as Farmingdale State's all-time leading scorer with 208 career points. Wandle also was a participant in the USILA's prestigious Senior All-Star Game.

Throughout his time as a student-athlete, the Rocky Point, New York native was a leader for the program in its community service efforts. At the Long Island Parkinson's Moving Day in October 2022, his family and he started the 'Wandle's Warriors" team. With the support of his teammates and coaches, he was the top donor, raising over $6,000 towards the initiative. Wandle has also volunteered, provided gifts and spread holiday cheer to the children at the Suffolk AHRC Center in Bohemia, N.Y. each year since 2019. A former member of Farmingdale State's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he has taught his sport with both the Inclusive Lacrosse and Wheelchair Lacrosse initiatives. Wandle also assisted with a Safe Halloween event, participated in the St. Baldrick's Skyline Conference Shave Off, and volunteered and raised money for both the Ann Asparro Run and #DezyStrong Foundation.

Wandle currently serves as the Director of Operations for My Lacrosse Tournaments at Dynamic Sports Management.
