Biography

Tyler graduated from Miller Place High School in 2016. He is the son of Doug and Judy Schrimpf.

Junior year...Played in 37-of-41 games...Recorded 21 hits, 15 runs and 14 runs batted in...Also ranked fifth on FSC with nine stolen bases and held a .977 fielding percentage.

Sophomore year...Named Second Team All-Conference...Appeared in 36 games, with 33 starts...Led the team in assists (88), ranked second in hits (32) and at-bats (102), third in batting average (.314), on-base percentage (.383) and runs batted in (15), fourth in runs scored (15), doubles (3), triples (1) and total bases (37) and fifth in slugging percentage (.363)...Ranked fourth in the Skyline in both fielding double plays (18) and assists.

Freshman year...Played in 32 games, with 23 starts...Ranked second on the team in stolen bases (5), third in doubles (3), and fifth in runs scored (15)...Batted .352 with 14 RBI's on the year.
