Biography

Thomas is a 2018 graduate of New Hyde Park High School, where he was a 4-year varsity player and earned All-Conference honors his senior year. Thomas also was named All-County and MVP for basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society. He is the son of Maureen Messina.

2022...Ranked third on the team with 12 appearances on the mound...Also ranked third for ERA (3.33) and wins (2)...Tossed 30.0 innings and struck out 14 batters.

Sophomore year...Appeared in eight games (one start)...Tallied 19.0 innings pitched, 15 strikeouts and a 2.37 earned run average.

Freshman year...Pitched in 11 games (three starts) and led the team with a 0.33 earned run average...Allowed just one solo homerun in 27 innings pitched and held opponents to a .198 batting average against.
