Biography
Rob graduated from Smithtown East High School in 2018. He is the son of Rob and Kelly Varello.
2024...Notched 20 points (13g, 7a), six ground balls and four caused turnovers in a limited eight-game campaign.
2023...Skyline Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year...First Team All-Skyline Conference...led the team with eight man-up goals (No. 61 in Div. III), ranked second with career-high 43 goals, and third in assists (19) and points (62)...held Skyline rankings in goals per game (second, 2.87), points per game (fourth, 4.13) and assists per game (sixth, 1.27).
2022...Started in 12 of his 15 appearances...ranked second on the Rams with 40 goals on 80 shots (.500, ranked No. 15 nationally)...led the Rams with eight man-up goals (T-6th in FSC history), ranking No. 46 in Division III...2.67 goals per game were the second-best mark in the Skyline, while 3.07 points per game ranked ninth.
2020...Picked up 27 points (21 g, 6 a) and 13 ground balls during FSC's six-game, COVID-shortened season.
