Farmingdale State College

Richie is a 2022 graduate of Sachem East High School. He transferred to Farmingdale State after playing baseball at NJIT. Richie is the son of Gina Heyder.

2025...First Team All-Conference...First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Region...First Team D3baseball.com All-Region...CSC Academic All-District selection...Ranked 14th in the Nation with a .441 batting average...Led the team with 60 hits, nine doubles, four triples, 92 total bases, .676 slugging percentage and .494 on-base percentage...Ranked second on FSC in at-bats (136), runs (34) and RBI (35)...In the Skyline, was second for hits, third in both batting average and slugging, and fourth for OBP.
2024...Second Team All-Skyline Conference Outfielder...Led the team with 41 runs batted in and 13 doubles...Ranked second for walks (18) and total bases (68), third in slugging (.553) and on-base percentage (.455), fourth for at-bats (123), hits (45), runs (29), triples (2) and home runs (2)...Also ranked fifth for batting average (.366) and stole eight bases.
