Biography

Matt is a 2025 graduate of Longwood High School, where he was a Newsday Top-100 Long Island athlete and named All-League. Matt is the son of Dawn and Billy Faraone.

2026...Played in 34 games, with 29 starts and led the team with five triples...Ranked third on FSC with 45 total bases and six stolen bases, was fourth in slugging percentage (.474), fifth for at-bats (95) and runs (21), and sixth in hits (30)...Also pitched in 10 games, totaling 27.2 innings pitched, a 4.88 ERA and 17 strike outs...Finished second in the Skyline and 20th in the NCAA for triples.
