Biography

Derick is a 2018 graduate of Island Trees High School, where he was an All-Conference player. Derrick transferred to Farmingdale State after playing two seasons of soccer at NYIT. He is the son of Jose Rivera and Norma Cruz.

Senior year...Started in all 16 apperances...took three shots on the season...registered one assist against Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 25).

Junior year...Played in 14-of-17 games on defense...Tallied the game-winning goal versus Maritime on Oct. 28th.
