Biography

Derek is a 2022 graduate of Baldwin High School, where he was an All-Conference player. Derek is the son of Christopher and Melissa Watts.

2026...First Team All-Skyline Conference...Led FSC with 21 appearances, eight games started, 58.1 innings pitched and seven saves...Finished second with 35 strike outs and four wins....In the Skyline, was second for saves and innings pitched, sixth for batting average against (.262) and ninth in both ERA (4.78) and wins...Ranked 19th in the Nation for saves.
2025...First Team All-Skyline Conference...Second Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Region...Third Team D3baseball.com All-Region...Was second in the Skyline and 63rd Nationally with a 2.59 earned run average in 59 innings pitched...Led the team and Conference with seven victories.
