Mike McCabe began his tenure with the Farmingdale State College baseball team in 2018, and was promoted to associate head coach for the 2024 season. A veteran in the Long Island baseball community with almost 30 years of coaching experience, he is involved in all facets of the Rams' program.
McCabe has previously coached at Suffolk County Community College, St. Joseph's University-Long Island and New York Institute of Technology, and continues to mentor local youth baseball and softball players through lessons, clinics and travel teams. He received a bachelor's degree New York Institute of Technology in 1992. McCabe's son, Patrick, is currently the pitching coach at nearby Division II institution, Adelphi University.
