FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's soccer team scored three times in the opening minutes and cruised to a 12-1 Skyline Conference victory over Maritime College on Wednesday night. The Rams improved to 5-2-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
Sophomore forward
Jenna Biondo (North Babylon, N.Y.) opened the scoring in the seventh minute off an assist from sophomore forward
Katelyn Nunziato (North Babylon, N.Y.). Nunziato doubled the lead less than nine minutes later, finishing a pass from freshman midfielder
Annalise Ferraro (North Massapequa, N.Y.).
Ferraro added a goal of her own in the 27th minute, scoring off a cross from senior defender
Abigail Borra (Syosset, N.Y.) to give FSC a 3-0 advantage. Maritime's Eva Garcia scored in the 42nd minute, sending the Rams into halftime with a 3-1 lead.
Farmingdale State then erupted for nine second-half goals. Biondo scored her second of the night 1:07 into the half before sophomore midfielder
Ella Hebler (East Greenbush, N.Y.) and senior forward
Kayla Mendez (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored 1:13 apart to push the lead to 6-1.
Nunziato and Mendez added goals in the 56th and 58th minutes, before freshman forward
Bianca Clarke (Holbrook, N.Y.) scored twice in the second half. Junior midfielder
Taylor Boes (Holbrook, N.Y.) and freshman forward
Addyson Talley (Roseville, Calif.) also found the back of the net for the Rams.
FSC finished with a 38-3 advantage in shots and an 11-1 edge in corner kicks. Mendez led the Rams with two goals and two assists, while Ferraro recorded a goal and three assists. Biondo and Nunziato each added two goals, with Clarke also scoring twice.

Charlotte Hoina (Holbrook, N.Y.) played the first 67:34 before classmate
Ollie Tobin (Lake Worth, Fla.) finished the match in net.
The Rams will return to action on Saturday, September 26th, when they host Mount Saint Mary College in a Skyline Conference matchup at 2:30 p.m.
