NEW YORK |Â The Skyline Conference released its fall weekly reports Monday afternoon, and four student-athletes from Farmingdale State College earned a weekly award, while another garnered honorable mention kudos.
Women's Soccer (2-2-1, 1-0 Skyline) |Â Skyline Report
Farmingdale State went 1-1-1 over a four-day stretch, defeating Yeshiva in its Skyline Conference opener on Thursday before competing over the weekend at the Drew Fall Festival – losing Saturday to the host Rangers and tying Stockton 24 hours later.
Senior attacker
Alyse Rivera (Manhattan, N.Y.) was the Skyline's Offensive Player of the Week recipient, while freshman striker
Paulina Fonfara (Glen Cove, N.Y.) repeated as its Rookie of the Week. Rivera completed her fifth career hat trick inside the first 12 minutes of the Yeshiva game, including a pair of goals 17 seconds apart which ranked as the ninth-fastest consecutive goals in NCAA Division III history. She added a goal and an assist over the weekend.
Fonfara notched five points on the week, including a goal and assist versus Yeshiva before opening the scoring Saturday at Drew.
FSC travels to FDU-Florham in New Jersey for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, before playing host to Arcadia Sunday afternoon at 2.
Women's Tennis (1-1, 1-0 Skyline) | Skyline Report
Conference play opened up for the Rams on Wednesday night, as the defending Skyline champions defeated Yeshiva on the road by a 6-1 score.
Freshman
Martine McGowan (Port Washington, N.Y.) garnered Skyline Rookie of the Week accolades, as she teamed with senior
Gabriella Loria (Levittown, N.Y.) for a 6-2 decision in top-flight doubles action versus Rina Pollock and Micka Mimoun, before defeating Pollock in the top singles position by straight-set scores of 6-2 and 6-0.
FSC travels to the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. start, before welcoming Pratt Institute for an 11 a.m. first serve on Saturday.

Farmingdale State opened its season Saturday at the Purchase College Invitational, where the men's team placed third while the women's side finished 12th.
Women's freshman
Amelia Vitale (Hauppauge, N.Y.) was the top finisher among Skyline competitors, and received Runner of the Week distinction after completing the 4,000-meter loop in a time of 17:36.9.
The Rams will compete in Stony Brook, N.Y. on Saturday at the St. Joseph's University Golden Eagle Invitational.

The Rams have now won three consecutive matches, as they defeated Western Connecticut in their home opener on Thursday before sweeping past SUNY Canton and host SUNY Delhi in a Saturday tri-match.
Sophomore outside hitter
Samantha Russo (Bay Shore, N.Y.) was an honorable-mention selection by the Skyline, as she averaged 4.0 points, 3.43 kills, 0.57 service aces and 3.79 digs per set while hitting .204.
This week, FSC plays host to Brooklyn College and Ramapo in 6 p.m. starts on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
Golf
Weather limited the Fourth Annual George Cangero Invitational to a single round on Saturday, where FSC placed third with a 7-over score of 295 at Eisenhower Park.
Junior
Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.) was the top individual finisher for the Rams, as he tied for fifth place with an even-par round of 72.
Farmingdale State is in action over the coming weekend (Sat.-Sun.) at the Duke Nelson Invitational in Middlebury, Vt.

Farmingdale State dropped a 1-0 decision Wednesday in its home opener versus Lehman, before falling in Rutgers-Newark's Brick City Classic over the weekend against the host Scarlet Raiders and The College of New Jersey.
A pair of home matches dot the Rams' schedule this week, as they play host to Baruch on Wednesday at 5 p.m., before opening Skyline play Saturday at noon versus St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.

FSC opens the fall portion of its schedule Wednesday with a 2 p.m. first serve at Division II institution Adelphi University, before playing host to Pratt Institute on Saturday at 11 a.m.
