NEWARK, N.J. | The Farmingdale State College women's soccer team took on New York University Saturday afternoon, with the Violets – receiving votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll – capturing a 4-0 victory over the Rams.
NYU (8-1-1) opened the scoring off a deflected corner kick 36 minutes in, before doubling its advantage following another corner kick in the 61st minute of play. The Violets tacked on goals in the 71st and 85th minutes against FSC (3-7-1), who received one shot on target apiece from senior back
