Rams freshman winger Kaitlyn Nunziato (North Babylon, N.Y.) pulled a goal back with 12:39 to play, as she fired home a rebound off a free kick into the lower-left corner of the goal to cut hosts' deficit to 2-1. FSC took five more shots in an attempt to equalize, including one on target by freshman
Paulina Fonfara (Glen Cove, N.Y.) just 3:37 before the final whistle, but MSMC keeper Elizabeth Lennane (four saves) stood tall and held on to seal the Knights' victory.
