RIVERDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to undefeated Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon in Skyline Conference play.
The Dolphins (8-0-1, 4-0-1 Skyline) opened the scoring in the eighth minute as Jenluis Henriquez found the back of the net off a pass from Marti Senyer. They extended their lead to 2-0 in the 30th minute with Henriquez's second goal of the game. Javier Trujillo later converted a penalty kick in the 70th minute to round out the scoring.
Farmingdale State (2-5-3, 1-1-3 Skyline) totaled six shots in the match, including attempts on goal by freshmen Josue Corea (Wyandanch, N.Y.) and Lucca Noboa (Freeport, N.Y.). Sophomore goalkeeper Andronicus Chavez (Farmingdale, N.Y.) stopped four shots in 82 minutes of action. Freshman Benjamin Chodon (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) finished out the game in net for the Rams.
FSC will return to action on Tuesday, October 7th, when they travel to Purchase College for a Skyline Conference matchup starting at 7:00 p.m.
