Women's Lacrosse Falls to No. 20 Trinity (Conn.) in First Round of NCAA Championship

GETTYSBURG, PA | The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team saw their season come to an end in the First Round of the 2024 NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday as they fell to 20th ranked Trinity (Conn.). The Rams finish with an 11-9 overall record, while the Bantams have advanced and will take on No. 6 ranked Gettysburg College in the Second Round on Sunday.

Farmingdale State freshman attack Carly Livingston (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led FSC with five shots on the day. The Skyline Conference Player of the Year also picked up one ground ball. Senior midfielder Ashley Codispoti (Patchogue, N.Y.) and freshman defender Alyssa Farrell (Franklin Square, N.Y.) had one caused turnover and one ground ball apiece and junior midfielder Molly Espey (West Hempstead, N.Y.) won two draw controls.

Sophomore goalkeeper Giavanna Stamatelo (Levittown, N.Y.) made eight saves in net for FSC.
