SWARTHMORE, Pa. | In a contest that featured nine ties and 15 lead changes, the Farmingdale State College men's basketball team fell on a last-second layup Thursday night at Swarthmore College, 66-64.

The Garnet (6-3) used a 10-3 run to go ahead 62-55 with 3:32 remaining, before the teams traded baskets in their next offensive possessions. FSC junior guard
Michael Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.) then scored the next three points to start a 7-0 spurt by FSC, as senior point guard
Jevon Santos (Elmont, N.Y.) tied the game at 64-all on a pair of free throws with 7.6 seconds left. Swarthmore's driving layup out of a time out was blocked by Notias, before the Garnet collected the loose ball and banked home a layup with 0.2 seconds on the scoreboard.Â
Santos led all players with 15 points and a 3-of-6 effort from 3-point range, while Notias dropped in 14 and dished out five assists. Freshman swingman
Jordan Tucker (Elmont, N.Y.) added 10 points for the Rams, with Walters and sophomore Kentell Evans (Brooklyn, N.Y.; 14 rebounds) each scoring eight.Â
