Head Coach: Chris Roche (21st year in 2025-26)
Chris Roche arrived at Farmingdale State in the summer of 2005. Since then, Chris has compiled an overall record of 241-138-37 (.624) and guided his team to 14 Skyline Conference championships and appearances in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2024).
In 2018, Coach Roche guided his team to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament victory with a 1-0 win over No. 19 Brandeis in the First Round. The 2018 team also reached No. 21 in the NCAA Division III national rankings during the season.
Over the past 19 seasons, Roche has won 10-plus games on 17 occasions. His winningest season came in 2010 with a 17-5 record, tying a program-high with a seven-game winning streak. He has coached six Skyline Rookies of the Year (2006, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2021, 2024), five Skyline Players of the Year (2010, 2015, 2018, 2021, 2024) and five Skyline Defensive Players of the Year (2012, 2014, 2018, 2021, 2024). He has also coached 11 All-Region players, three of which were three-time recipients of that award.
Prior to Farmingdale State, Roche was the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Briarcliffe College for two years, where he coached the team to an 18-8-2 record, as well as a No. 3 ranking in the country in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
Roche graduated from the University of Scranton in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance. While studying at Scranton, he played one year of soccer and was then hired as an assistant coach.
