Shannon is a 2008 graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School,where she was an All-League soccer player and a Scholar Athlete.She also participated in Varsity gymnastics in 7th and 8th grade.Shannon is the daughter of Nadine and Steve Kalogeras.
Senior year...Team captain...Appeared in 19games on defense for the Rams...Controlled a defense that rankedfirst in the Skyline in goals allowed and second in goals againstaverage.
Junior year...Played in 20 games, team captain.Scored one goal and one assist, while helping the Rams to theirfourth straight Skyline Championship. Anchored the conference'stop-ranked defense which allowed 0.59 goals per game in 2010.
Sophomore year...Won her second consecutiveSkyline Conference Championship in 2009. Led a top ranked defensethat recorded 15 shutouts and held a 0.85 goals against average.Finished the season with one goal and one assist.
Freshman year...Member of the SkylineChampionship team in 2008. Anchored the defense, which heldopponents to 1.77 goals per game. Finished the year with twoassists.
