Biography

Melissa is a 2012 graduate of Flushing High School, where sheearned Athlete of the Year honors. Melissa scored 102 goals in her4-year career and was named MVP each of her four years. She wasnamed the Student of the Year for excellence in athletics,outstanding citizenship service and leadership in the studentgovernment. Melissa is the daughter of Maria and Manuel Lijo.

Freshman year...Appeared in 20 games, whilestarting 17...Scored three goals and had one assist for sevenpoints.
