Farmingdale State College

Melissa is a 2012 graduate of Flushing High School, where she earned Athlete of the Year honors. Melissa scored 102 goals in her 4-year career and was named MVP each of her four years. She was named the Student of the Year for excellence in athletics, outstanding citizenship service and leadership in the student government. Melissa is the daughter of Maria and Manuel Lijo.
