Joseph Stocken VI enters his third season as an assistant track and field coach at his alma mater in the 2025-26 academic year.
Stocken received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology from Farmingdale State in 2022, as well as a master's degree in engineering technology management in 2024. He competed in four seasons of cross country, and indoor and outdoor track and field for the Rams as an undergraduate. Stocken attended Farmingdale State after a scholastic career at Miller Place High School, where he was an all-league selection in outdoor track and field in addition to playing football for the Panthers. His 2023 time of 8.70 in the indoor 60-meter high hurdles, along with his 54.58 time in the outdoor 400-meter intermediate hurdles from the same calendar year, both rank fifth on Farmingdale State's all-time performance list.
