WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. |Â The Farmingdale State men's golf team sits in 13th place out of 17 teams after completing the first two rounds of the Williams Fall Invitational on Saturday at Taconic Golf Club. The Rams carded a two-round total of 607 (+39), while Trinity (Conn.) leads the field with a score of 574 (+6).
Junior Rishi Talwar (East Farmingdale, N.Y.) leads the way for FSC and is tied for 10th individually at three-over-par, 145. Talwar opened the tournament with a two-under-par 69 before carding a 76 (+5) in the second round.
Senior Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.) is tied for 39th after rounds of 79 (+8) and 73 (+2) for a two-round total of 152 (+10), while classmate Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.) is tied for 45th at 153 (+11) after rounds of 78 (+7) and 75 (+4).
Freshman Jacob Andersen (Medford, N.Y.) is 15-over-par after posting rounds of 76 (+5) and 81 (+10), while sophomore Philip Connolly (Garden City, N.Y.) is 20-over-par with scores of 80 (+9) and 82 (+11).
The Rams will wrap up the Williams Fall Invitational on Sunday, September 20th with the third and final round beginning with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
