WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. | The Farmingdale State men's golf team finished in 14th place out of 17 teams at the Williams Fall Invitational on Sunday at Taconic Golf Club. The Rams carded a 326 (+42) in the final round to finish with a three-round total of 933 (+81).

Senior Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.) was FSC's top finisher, tying for 28th out of 88 competitors with a three-round score of 229 (+16). Douglas opened with rounds of 79 (+8) and 73 (+2) before shooting a 77 (+6) on Sunday.

Senior Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.) tied for 43rd at 232 (+19) after rounds of 78 (+7), 75 (+4) and 79 (+8). Junior Rishi Talwar (East Farmingdale, N.Y.), who entered the final round tied for 10th, finished with a total of 233 (+20) after carding an 88 (+17) on Sunday.

Freshman Jacob Andersen (Medford, N.Y.) shot an 82 (+11) in the final round after opening with rounds of 76 (+5) and 81 (+10), while sophomore Philip Connolly (Garden City, N.Y.) rounded out the Rams with a 90 (+19) following rounds of 80 (+9) and 82 (+11).

Pomona-Pitzer captured the team title with a three-round score of 877 (+25), followed by Trinity (Conn.) at 888 (+36) and Babson at 890 (+38). Andre Zhang of Amherst and JP Noone of Tufts shared medalist honors after each finished at 215 (+2).

The Rams will next compete at the RPI Collegiate Invitational on Monday, October 5th at Shaker Ridge Country Club in Loudonville, N.Y.
