NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference released its latest weekly reports on Monday afternoon, and Farmingdale State College senior baseball student-athletes
Richie Heyder (Holbrook, N.Y.) and
Christian Pellegrino (Carle Place, N.Y.) were named the conference's Player and Co-Pitcher of the Week, respectively.
Baseball (5-5) | Skyline Weekly Report
Farmingdale State wrapped up its spring break week by winning four of its final five games, and have now won four consecutive contests after single victories against Springfield (Tue.) and Lesley (Wed.), and a home doubleheader sweep Sunday against CCNY.
Heyder batted 10-for-15 (.667) with eight runs scored, four doubles, five walks (.750 on-base percentage) and two RBI across the five-game stretch, while Pellegrino went 1-0 on the hill with a 1.13 earned run average, .077 batting average against and 12 strikeouts across his eight innings of work.
The Rams will play host to John Jay on Thursday afternoon at 3, before opening their Skyline title defense with noontime doubleheaders versus Manhattanville (Saturday) and at Mount Saint Vincent (Sunday).
Men's Lacrosse (5-2) | Skyline Weekly Report
FSC was defeated by Western Connecticut in Florida on Tuesday, 15-9, before narrowly falling on a last-second goal at Oswego State on Saturday, 14-13.
Junior attackman
Joey Forchelli (Seaford, N.Y.) received an honorable mention nod from the Skyline after firing home four goals on the weekend versus the Lakers.
The Rams' final two regular season non-conference games of the season dot this week's schedule, as they will welcome FDU-Florham for a 7 p.m. opening face-off on Tuesday night before playing host to Alfred State on Saturday afternoon at 3.

FSC suffered setbacks to Stevenson University and Springfield College on its spring break trip to Clearwater, Fla., this past week. Junior goalkeeper
Giavanna Stamatelo (Levittown, N.Y.) was an honorable mention selection on the Skyline's weekly report, following her career-high 19 save showing in Wednesday's game versus Springfield.
The Rams' first two Skyline Conference games of the season are at home this week, beginning with Tuesday's 4 p.m. start against Manhattanville, and Saturday's noontime tilt with the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Softball (3-7) | Skyline Weekly Report
Farmingdale State went 3-7 on its Florida spring break trip, capturing victories over Fredonia, William Paterson and Clarkson along the way. Senior designated player
Samantha Stolfi (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) batted .393 with four RBI and one double to lead the green and white's offense.
The Rams will begin their Skyline Conference championship defense at home on Sunday with a noontime doubleheader versus Sarah Lawrence College.
Men's Tennis (1-2)
FSC's Skyline opener scheduled for Tuesday night at Yeshiva has been postponed due to the forecasted inclement weather. The Rams are next scheduled to play host to conference foe Purchase College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Golf
Monday's FSC Glen Oaks Invitational was canceled due to the recent rainfall. Farmingdale State will next travel to Malvern, Pa., to compete in the three-round Swarthmore Invitational on Sunday and Monday (March 29-30).Â
